- Choose the FANUC SR-3iA when your application requires the tool or part to rotate at the wrist, since the SR-3iA has an additional axis (J4) for rotation that the SR-3iA/H lacks. Choose the SR-3iA/H as a lower-cost option for simpler pick-and-place or assembly tasks that don't require that rotation.
Can the FANUC SR-3iA SCARA robot be used in food or washdown environments?
- The standard FANUC SR-3iA SCARA robot is rated IP20 and is not built for food-contact or washdown environments.
